It’s hard to believe that summer is almost over and back to school is quickly approaching! *weeps*

What have been some highlights of your summer? Some of mine were counseling at camp, spending time with friends, and reading some amazing books!

Deadlines Are Approaching

SPP has a couple new anthologies coming up soon!

The deadline for our Christmas anthology has been moved to September 1st. If you are interested in submitting a piece to this anthology, you only have a couple of weeks left!

This book will be launched in December - just in time for the holidays!

Also, the Chosen Collection series is getting a third book! The deadline for this adoption-themed anthology is coming up in January 2026, and the estimated launch will be in March 2026. (Is it just me, or does it feel weird talking about 2026? 😂)

If you have any story ideas for these anthologies or are interested in submitting to either (or both) of them, we’d love your help sharing clean, wholesome fiction with young people!

In Conclusion...

I recently came across this quote from British actor Benedict Cumberbatch: “I can feel infinitely alive curled up on the sofa reading a book.” This is, in fact, delightfully true!

Why not see for yourself with one of SPP’s previous anthologies? Or perhaps feel alive with a preordered copy of the encouraging poetry in Through Rays of Light.
